Rúben Amorim will have full thoughts on Nottingham Forest on Saturday as he hopes to make amends, after his side succumbed to their first defeat of his reign by Arsenal on Wednesday in the Premier League.
The loss sees us down to 13th place on 19 points, seven points off top four. Its a game Ruben Amorim will be desperate to move on from quickly, and a home game against Nottingham Forest isnt the worst fixture to try to do so.
Forest are flying high in seventh, just three points above us. Their big Kiwi striker Chris Wood is on fire, having bagged nine goals already
Manchester United Team News
United Left-back Luke Shaw took to social media this week to express his feelings after picking up an injury in training on Monday. This rules him out of Saturday’s Fixture.
Jonny Evans may not feature following a knock, and Swedish defender Victor Lindelöf will not feature due to a longer-term injury.
Both Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez will return to the squad after missing the Arsenal game due to suspension.
Excitement arose on Wednesday when Amorim introduced Leny Yoro to the fray in the 59th minute against Arsenal, the £52 million Summer signing made his competitive debut, and looked sharp, returning to the squad after sustaining a fractured foot in only his second game for united in pre-season. Yoro gives United another option especially with his position being heavily focused in the new formation.
Predicted XI
Onana;
Yoro, De Ligt, Martinez;
Mazraoui, Mainoo, Fernandes, Dalot;
Amad, Zirkzee, Rashford.
Opposition Preview
Forest got out of the traps nicely in the league this season, currently losing out on European football on goal difference and sitting in a comfortable 7th. Forest are the only team so far this season to beat front-runners Liverpool, and have taken points from Chelsea, Brighton and West Ham. Striker Chris Wood has been critical for Forrest this season; the New Zealander is joint third in the golden boot race with nine goals.
In recent weeks, however, Nottingham Forrest have failed to replicate their early season form with three defeats in four for the visitors, with Old Trafford being their third consecutive away game.
They should be almost at full strength ahead of this fixture, but Midfielder Danilo will be unavailable having been ruled out since early August with an ankle injury. Ibrahim Sangare will also be unavailable having been ruled out since September with a foot injury.
Former Red Antony Elanga will likely feature for Forrest the Swedish winger featured for United 39 times scoring three times.

Prediction
We fully expect United to Bounce back from weekday misery, Arsenal was a big challenge early into Ruben Amorim’s Tenure but United competed and Arsenal had to rely on set pieces to win the game. Nottingham Forrest’s early season form has been wiped out in recent weeks however Chris Wood could be effective for the visitors. We fancy united to extend the run of seven games unbeaten at Old Trafford
Prediction Manchester United 3-0 Nottingham Forrest
