Fabrizio Romano Sancho Update

Football Twitter icon Fabrizio Romano has recently dropped another update regarding who many Manchester United fans demand to be the club’s priority signing this summer, Jadon Sancho.
Following on from reports by Mike McGrath of The Daily Telegraph, that despite the Manchester United players admiration for Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho remains Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s number one priority; Fabrizio Romano has solidified and developed on the clubs pursual of the 21-year-old English winger with his most recent tweet.

The Neapolitan journalist reports that Manchester United have maintained their contact with Jadon Sancho’s camp throughout the weekend, alongside continuing negotiations with Borussia Dortmund over Sancho’s Price.

Romano details that negotiations have been surrounding the €95M asking price Der BVB have set, with Manchester United having previously lodged a roughly €70m bid. Fabrizio states that this first bid “won’t be enough to complete the deal”.

The Guardian affiliated journalist specifies that talks regarding this final hurdle of the transfer fee for Jadon Sancho, alongside any potential bonuses, performance clauses etc. will carry on over the next hours and days.

This sentiment is reinforced by Fabrizio Romano’s often cited source Jan Aage Fjortoft, as he has reported on the 11th June, that this deal “could happen next week”. As reports of on-going negotiations and both clubs feeling positive about the move have been coming out more frequently, an agreement being met by the two clubs soon seems more and more plausible by the day.
