On Sunday afternoon United to travel runaway league-leaders and greatest rivals Liverpool, for what will probably be our toughest test of the season.
United have lost the last three league games to Bournemouth, Wolves and Newcastle, scoring no goals in the process. Liverpool have won the last three, scoring fourteen.
The key man to watch is Mo Salah, the Egyptian has 17 goals and 13 assists in 18 league games; the fewest appearances a player has needed to reach 30 goal involvements in a Premier League season. He’s also scored more goals and provided more assists (12 and 6 respectively) against Manchester United than any other player in Premier League history.
The small silver lining for United is the return of Bruno Fernandes and Ugarte from suspension.

Prediction
We have to remember that Manchester United have the ability and players to get big results on their day; evidenced recently by the Manchester City result a few weeks ago.
However, Liverpool at Anfield is arguably the most difficult game in the calendar and our recent form has been dire, while Liverpool’s has been excellent. For us to get anything out of this game at all, we need cut out the mistakes made in the last few games, and the likes of Bruno, Amad, Mainoo and Hojlund need to produce their best to create the opportunities to score.
Predicted score: Liverpool 1-1 Manchester United
